It didn't emerge yesterday or the day before.  It was debated in
the Dáil on 2003-02-27, when Mr. Allen, Mr. Durkan, and Mr. Ó Caoláin
questioned how a standalone system could be infected with a virus,
and why anyone should trust the election evoting system now,
especially given the contents of the Zerflow report.

Such cynicism.  I'm sure that by now the PC controlling the Dáil's
electronic voting board has been disconnected from any network, and that
any future software updates and/or viruses will have to be installed
the old-fashioned way -- from diskettes and CDs.
