job.  Hopefully that means the new minister will want to get off on the 
right foot with us!  So if we phrase the letter in a conciliatory way, 
we should be able to get our meeting.

Supposing Cullen doesn't get reshuffled, he should be quite relieved, 
and maybe want to try and patch things up.  But I wouldn't count on 
it... I don't think that's the way he operates.  If he gets to stay in 
his job, it'll probably go to his head :-(

Either way, we're in quite a strong position (i.e. we're now respected 
and regarded as the experts on this issue) and we could expect an 
experienced politician to be aware of that.  He/she won't appreciate 
being told what to do - after all, politicians are elected to run the 
country and we aren't - so let's ask nicely instead :-)
