I'm not so sure about the strength of our position. I think the media will
certainly take us more seriously in the future but I was talking to an Irish
friend who is a computer programmer. He lives in Holland but reads the
Times, the Indo, the Examiner and probably anything else he can find. He has
had several letters in all of these (not about evoting) and he had no clue
who ICTE were. I don't mean that he didn't know our name, he didn't really
know that there was a lobby group that caused most of the commotion in the
first place.
I don't want to be too negative but I'd say that most of the "glory" went to
FG, Labour and the Greens, and very little to ICTE,
