There's no harm in that! Strategically it's a good thing, the opposition
parties have tied themselved explicitly to VVAT. It's something they
cannot back down on, and they'll be seen to lsoe political ground if
they do. There'll be uproar from the media if we see more changes pushed
through without political consensus, so strategically - it's a great
thing.

I hope to have a much revised letter draft ready this evening, taking in
all of the suggestions so far (keep them coming!).
