I disagree with this,
and think it would be a foolish position for ICTE to take.

If the suggested voting procedure seems to be 
as long-winded as the present system
it will be rejected in favour of e-voting without VVAT.

In my view, a paper trail should be available
for cases where there is a reasonable doubt about the outcome,
in much the same way that a recount is available now.
