We also need to consider the possibility that the attack on the system would
NOT come from a political party, but would come from an individual or group
who would benefit substantially from a particular political direction. For
example, individuals behind those companies who run outsourced, privatised
prisons/schools/hospitals would have a huge amount to gain from ensuring a
strong right-wing bias within Govt.
The various Tribunal reports show us the lengths to which such individuals
are prepared to go in order to make financial gains. The size of the prize
would probably compensate for the risk of getting caught (in their eyes).
