FF didn't come up with Nedap/PowerVote - the officials in the department
were largely responsible for selecting the system. While a future
government that doesn't include FF might shrug off the attempts by FF to
pin the blame for the waste of the €50m on them,(especially if FF is
successful in forcing the use of the machines at the next election,
something that certainly won't surprise me), any new administration
would still be relying on the Franchise section to vet any alternative
solution for suitability.
