I don't think there's proxy voting here. It would violate the secrecy
of the ballot that's in the Constitution.
Has anyone here actually voted absentee? Do you actually have to
physically vote while at a Garda station? Can you do this at a time of
your own choice?
Can a disabled person ask someone else to fill out their ballot for
them? This is the only context in which a "proxy" vote might be possible.
