Hi Colm

 

Great letter. Just one suggestion in relation to point 2 "There are strong
reasons to suspect that elections conducted with e-voting are more expensive

to operate than paper elections", you might want to add the point that the
fact that every machine requires a dedicated human operator for the duration
of the election means that any manpower savings on the count will be wiped
out.
